Join With ISRA In Celebrating The 250th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps!

The Second Continental Congress established the Continental Marines on 10 November 1775 with this decree:

That two battalions of Marines be raised consisting of one Colonel, two lieutenant-colonels, two majors and other officers, as usual in other regiments; that they consist of an equal number of privates as with other battalions, that particular care be taken that no persons be appointed to offices, or enlisted into said battalions, but such as are good seamen, or so acquainted with maritime affairs as to be able to serve for and during the present war with Great Britain and the Colonies; unless dismissed by Congress; that they be distinguished by the names of the First and Second Battalions of Marines, and that they be considered as part of the number which the Continental Army before Boston is ordered to consist of. Ordered, That a copy of the above be transmitted to the General.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the ISRA accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by, or resulting from the acceptance, possession or usage of the prize(s) awarded hereunder.
4. Prize Claim(s). Prize must be claimed within 90 days of drawing..
5. Offer Void Where Prohibited. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
