We are pleased to offer a Pennsylvania Rifle for the 250th Anniversary of the start of the Revolutionary War. The Pennsylvania Rifle and the people who carried them played a pivotal role in the Revolutionary War. Their marksmanship was exemplary. Many of the sharpshooters in the Revolutionary War were from Pennsylvania and used Pennsylvania rifles. Most famous of these is Patrick Murphy who shot and killed British General Patrick Ferguson at a range of 300 yards using his Pennsylvania Flint Lock Rifle. In commemoration of this 250th Anniversary, we’re pleased to offer 5 prizes that include:

Official Rules

1. Contest is open to all legal Illinois residents 18 years of age or older. ISRA reserves the right to make final determination as to a contestant’s eligibility to win a prize.
2. Date of Drawing:  Drawing will be held October 11, 2025.
3. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules and decisions of the ISRA which shall be final and binding. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the ISRA accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by, or resulting from the acceptance, possession or usage of the prize(s) awarded hereunder.
4. Prize Claim(s). Arrangement must be made with an FFL to claim a firearm prize in accordance with Illinois and Federal law concerning firearms transfers.  Note that firearms transfers require an FOID card (even for this muzzleloader) and background check, and there are additional Illinois laws in place for FOID cards for those under the age of 21.
5. Offer Void Where Prohibited. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
