If you watched the presidential debate on September 10, then you heard Kamala Harris say: “And then this business about taking everyone’s guns away. Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We’re not taking anybody’s guns away.“
What does she mean by that? Do you believe her? She also wants to ban many firearms nationwide, much like the current PICA Gun Ban we are fighting in Illinois. She has also previously described her plan to have a national “mandatory buy back” of firearms that she does not like.
Did you know that Kamala Harris said the following at a press conference in May 2007, when she was District Attorney of San Francisco:
“Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible.”
Does that sound like someone that respects the 2nd Amendment? Note also that this was Gavin Newsom’s press conference. He was mayor of San Francisco at the time, now he is governor of California.
Two anti-gunners standing arm in arm…
You may have seen this video presented elsewhere, it’s very short, just 15 seconds, and the quality is poor, but we have cleaned up the audio so you can hear it.
More:
(NRA-ILA) On October 31, 2019, Harris called for gun confiscation at a public television candidates forum in Ankeny, Iowa. Responding to a question about gun control, Harris answered, “I support buybacks.” The forum moderator then asked Harris, “How mandatory is your gun buyback program?” Harris made clear, “It’s mandatory.” (ISRA Comment: A mandatory turn-in of your firearms, even if compensated with some money, isn’t that a confiscation?) Here’s the video:
One more: In this exchange with Oprah, Kamala Harris jokes about shooting an intruder. It’s not a laughing matter, do you agree?
