DESCRIPTION:Open to public. The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces the students to the knowledge\, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course\, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation\, ammunition\, gun safety\, pistol shooting fundamentals\, and pistol shooting activities. This course does qualify for the first 8 hours of CCL. Cost: $100 (ISRA member); $160 (non-member). Can be taken as a stand alone class or in conjunction with CCL Day 2 for IL Concealed Carry requirements.
