As I read more articles and hear more things in conversations, it’s amazing how
I am hearing more pro 2nd Amendment things. I get the NRA alerts and there is a
lot of good news for we believers in freedom. Yes it’s true!! Oh attacks are
still coming, but more people are fighting back.
Just make sure you check the background of every person you vote for, even if it
means calling his campaign headquarters and asking his or her stance on gun
control.
Despite the Democratic controlled Congress, we have got back conceal carry in
our National Parks. Now, please if you’re a Democrat, don’t take that as an
insult. There are many pro-gun Democrats in the U.S. Congress, plus in our very
own state legislature. I vote for one of them every time he comes up for
election.
It’s just a generally known conclusion that most of our fight for freedom is
against Liberal Democrats who wish to take away your 2nd Amendment rights at
every chance they can. You can see it in the foolish bills they bring up for
passage. They usually contain some off-the-wall, really crazy thing that they
think will stop crime or criminals.
You see, you can’t legislate behavior! If a person is going to do something
criminal, they are going to do it and no law in the land will stop them
---BUT--- making a law that severely punishes that act of crime and carrying
through with the punishment will definitely make the next person think, “Is it
worth a lethal injection or spending 30 years in prison?”
How many times have they heard, “Criminals are criminals and they don’t obey
laws.” But somehow common sense to them doesn’t make common sense, so they go
ahead and present another no-common-sense bill. What will it take? Why is it so
hard to think sensible? We all went to school and we all worked on little
stories to correct what didn’t make sense in the story. Did they forget all
that?
Anyway more and more people are joining our cause. I saw that from the crowd on
IGOLD day and I can’t wait to see everyone bring someone else next time.
Polls are showing more and more people want less and less gun control and more
criminal control. The anti’s still argue that conceal carry doesn’t work. Yet we
have all kinds of stories and statistics to prove it does. But will they admit
it—NO!
I heard one comment on the radio from one of the antis after the appeals court
rejected the NRA’s AND ISRA’s lawsuit and it was that they don’t see
people defending themselves daily by carrying a handgun. Well guess what—you
won’t see it daily because 48 states are carrying and the bad guy is now
scared he may lose his life committing an armed robbery.
So you see since the people in Dodge are carrying guns, the bad guys think
twice, decide no, so daily we don’t have people needing to defend
themselves with their guns! Yet daily across this country someone really is
defending themselves in some way. But they just won’t print it! Now do you get
it Mr. Liberal?
Anyway rejoice that more Americans are finding out that the Founding Fathers
were right when they said, “THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL
NOT BE INFRINGED!” Emphasis mine!
God bless all of you newcomers and we welcome you with open arms! Please
continue to be very vocal about the 2nd Amendment and don’t back down to anyone
saying otherwise. We cherish your fellowship with us and please if you don’t
belong to the ISRA, consider this the time to jump in the ranks with us.
