All Aboard!

by Don Bekeleski

It’s time to get a reservation to board a bus on March 10th leaving for Springfield. The tidal wave must grow and you are the wind behind it. Please don’t tell me you are going to let another year go by without being part of democracy at work. It’s one day out of your schedule. You take off more days to go deer hunting or to just sit around the house.

We really want to have 10,000 bodies or better down there this year. C’mon folks, is it that hard to make up your mind to go?? You don’t have to drive! You will be totally excited in the 6 block march to the Capitol. People honking horns giving you the thumbs up all the way to the Lincoln statue is exciting alone.

Everyone on my bus that was a first timer last year, was really happy they came and told me they would be back again, with someone new in tow this year. Quit saying to yourself, “I wish I could do more.” You can—just make a reservation! Talk to your Rep or Senator face to face and tell him how you feel about conceal carry.

If you feel more comfortable driving to Springfield get a bunch together and car pool. You can split the driving and gas. If this is the way to go fine, but please whichever way, please join us for this once a year event.

This is an election year and if we can put more pressure on these people by mere thousands of people showing up, think what might happen if we elect a pro 2nd Amendment Governor and more legislative pro 2nd Amendment people. Wow, this could be the year! Don’t you think 10,000 & up people marching is not making a statement? I believe it’s a strong statement!

Please write me and tell me you will be joining us for the first time. I would love to hear from you. Quit leaving it to everyone else. It’s your turn now. The ball is in your court. Are you going to drop it and walk away again, or are you going to shoot for the basket? Let’s really make the news this year, but numbers is what will get us on, so that means YOU—YOU—AND YOU!
